I Surrender to Spam
If you look at my last two posts, you’ll see that they have more than 500 and 100 comments, respectively. I’m not that popular. Really. I’m under attack by spam commenters and it’s beyond my control.
So I’m throwing up the white flag. I’m not going to upgrade my blog nor will I try to cull the comments. I’m moving to Wordpress, ASAP. I’m also going to split my content – MichaelWhitney.net will just be my personal blog, and anything internet-related (i.e. “professional” blog posts) will go to a new domain.
Get ready, I’ll finish this in the next decade or so.

Note to self - don't let domain name expire again
Sorry folks, if you were trying to check my site at all. I very stupidly let me domain name expire. But I bought it back and I’m all set to go.
My design portfolio
Hey all, in celebration of Columbus Day, I re-did my design portfolio. You can click here, or you can click the big yellow ‘design’ in the top menu. Your call.
Firefox users can relax.
The site is aligned in the center again. There was an extra
position: absolute;floating around in the CSS.
For those of you who visit the site,
at least 61% of you are seeing an unintentionally off-center design. For those of you in Internet Explorer, somehow, you are seeing this website correctly. And for those of you reading this in a feed reader, nothing to see here. Now that the entry’s over, of course.
P.S. Anyone who’s bored and wants to find the error to correctly align my website in Firefox, I’ll give them $10. I have no time anymore to do anything.
