I make a lot of things on the internet. These are some of my projects.
Just before the release of Robert Draper's Bush biography Dead Certain, exciting advance snippets became public. Among the revelations: "I do tears," says President Bush. I seized the opportunity and purchased idotears.com to memorialize the quote.
Politickr combines blog posts, photos, and videos from the 2008 presidential candidates and uses tag clouds to show what words candidates' blogs use most. I sold Politickr to TechPresident.com. Here is their adapation.
"Very cool concept, nicely done — one of the few truly innovative applications of technology to politics I’ve seen in a while."—Colin Delany, epolitics.com
Republican presidential candidate Fred Thompson is better known as Law and Order's District Attorney Arthur Branch when he's not begging for applause in senior centers on the '08 campaign trail. I wanted the next best thing, so I made a satire site to draft Assistant District Attorney Jack McCoy. Still under construction.
I re-launched this site as a simple petition in response to recent rumbling about a draft. No Iraq Draft was originally a project of Music for America.
I developed the website and podcast distribution for The Jackie Guerra Show, formerly Workin' It on Air America Radio. The site's logo and some of the graphics were designed by Amy Chou. This project was part of my employment at American Rights at Work.
Iwan Bagus Himawan is a professor of photography at American University. This site is his design portfolio and professional home.
BenLadner.com is the alternative student news at American University. I redesigned the site and moved the site to the content management system Textpattern.
