1:42 – Gravel seems to think that the current constitutional system doesn’t work, and prefers a direct democracy. Fight on. The domestic section of the debate is over.
1:40 – Mike Gravel gets a hiss for his support of a flat task, and is now telling the attendees that “you need to understand politics.” For whatever reason, hissing is the preferred vocalization of disapproval. Can anyone shed some light on that??
1:38 – The first Standing O goes to Edwards for calling for the reform of the Democratic Party and for all the candidates to stop taking money from lobbyists.
1:36 – Dennis Kucinich gets his first question, and the audience responds with some solid applause.
1:35 – From the convention Twitter feed: almost 2,000 people are watching the forum live online.
